Broadband Support

Computer or router settings.

To connect to the internet, our Wireless Broadband uses secure DHCP. This means we have information in our system specific to your connection. Once your Wireless Client is connected, your computer or router will ask us for an address to allow you to get online. Our system will hear this request, match it to the information on file, and reply with the proper numbers, and you will then be allowed to get online. This all happens in less than 10 seconds when your DSL modem is connected, and when your computer turns on.

For this to work properly we need some nformation from you that we will either get at the start of your service, or you will need to contact us.

You computer or router needs to be set to Obtain an IP address automatically for this to work. To check this on your computer follow the instructions below for your operating system.
