Attention to All Downeast.net Customers!!! As you know there have been many changes here at Downeast.net recently, but there is one change that we are proud to announce! A family owned business in Waterville Maine has purchased Downeast.net! Jordan Networks Inc. was started by long time Downeast.Net employees; Danette Rogers, Dwight Rogers, and Charles "Chuck" Crawford, all of whom are partners in Jordan Networks Inc. We all want to see the company grow and exceed your expectations, which is something Downeast.Net has been striving to do since 1995. We here at Jordan Networks Inc. want to re-assure everyone that there is no change on your part except for the new name on our invoices. I know you may not believe this, but it's true!!! Your e-mail address, connection name, and passwords all stay the same! We are going to be working hard over the next few months to re-establish the good name that Downeast.net has brought to Downeast Maine. A few of the changes that we are going to be making in the next few months will be working on expanding the Wireless service in other areas that we currently cannot reach, and continuing to assist those of you that have not updated to the new access numbers if you are a Dial-Up customer of ours. Some of you have already changed this number in the last few months, and we thank you for that! There will be other changes but nothing that will affect your connections or email. We will be updating our current website www.downeast.net to include the new company name Jordan Networks Inc. once we have contacted all of our customers. We have already made the change for those of you that pay via Credit/Debit card or Electronic Checks. The name that will now appear on your statements will be: Jordan Networks Inc d/b/a Downeast.net. We ask those of you that send in a check to make the checks payable to Jordan Networks.
The following is just a reminding of our hours of operations in both of our locations: Ellsworth Main St Location: Waterville Main St Location: Yes, we are closing Sundays, but only because our call volume is extremely low on this day. We will have someone on-call for Sundays checking the voicemails every hour. So if you do need assistance on Sundays, please leave a message with your name and number and someone will contact you within the hour. If you need assistance with: billing, technical support, or customer service, one of our reps can be reached by calling: 667-7414 or 1-866-856-7009 or by emailing us at support@downeast.net. Please understand that there are one to two reps ready to answer the phone at any given time, and we may not be able to answer your call on the first try every time, but you can always leave a message and we will call you as soon as one of us is off the phone. A quick addendum to let you know that Don and Jean are still the web Sorry for any confusion! We understand that this is a big change for some of you, but please remember that we are the voices and faces that you have been familiar with for the last 4 years. We value you as a customer and we hope to provide you with the same friendly and knowledgeable service like you have come to expect from Downeast.net!
